Auto wedged on truck is dragged down California freeway

After this Nissan and truck collided Wednesday, April 19, 2017, on the northbound 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass, the truck dragged the auto behind it for a few miles before another motorist filming it with his cell phone flagged down the truck's driver.

A dramatic video posted to Facebook this week showed a sedan being dragged up the Cajon Pass behind a large agricultural truck, apparently after the two vehicles had collided.

In the video, you can see the airbags were deployed and a man waving out the driver side window attempting to grab the attention of the truck driver.

'He's not stopping, ' the driver of the vehicle shouted to Steimke. Steimke stops too and runs back down the freeway to check out the scene.

As Steimke drives up and pulls over, another auto could be seen braking in front of the truck, forcing him to stop.

"I didn't know it", the driver responds.

It doesn't take very long for new drivers to grow accustomed to sharing the road with semi-trucks.

"What do you mean?" "You need to get out of your truck right now".

Somehow on Wednesday, a Nissan driving on a Southern California freeway got wedged into the rear wheels of a tandem truck. Someone asks him to stop recording, and he does. According to the California Highway Patrol, this crash is not considered a criminal incident.
