Middlesbrough striker Rudy Gestede has urged teammates to stay positive in their relegation battle.

Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Clayton has insisted that his side will not give up hope of Premier League survival until it is mathematically out of their reach.

Leicester won seven of their last nine fixtures during the 2014-15 campaign to remain in the league and Sunderland survived past year by avoiding defeat in their last six games.

"We've played against teams and we have been in most games and have been pipped by that extra bit of quality that we need to have", he told reporters. We have to keep believing and keep the chin up.

Things might have changed significantly had Boro enjoyed the stroke of good fortune against the Gunners that has eluded them for much of the campaign to date.

The home crowd could be important, and if the few Arsenal fans that are there start showing displeasure if we don't start scoring early, it could be another uncomfortable afternoon for Arsene Wenger.
