Ko finishes with best result of year

Jutanugarn had a bogey-free 6-under 66, and Kim shot 64 to reach 9-under 135 at Ko Olina Golf Club.

The 39-year-old Kerr set the tournament record at 20-under 268, a day after shooting 62 at Ko Olina to match the event mark.

Kerr hadn't won in 30 starts since the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in 2015. She bogeyed the 10th just before play was suspended, but got it back with her sixth birdie of the day, at the 13th. Combined with playing the final eight holes of her third round in 7 under, Kerr was 13 under in her last 26 holes. "So, this is an event I really look forward to and I'm excited to go out there and hopefully have a lot of fun this week." said, Wie. "I know this course pretty well and I've had some good success here, so being comfortable and confident coming in just really gave me that start that we've been wanting". "I had a great putting day", said Kim, 28.

Kerr fell five shots behind after the first holes in the final round. "I was able to keep going forward because I didn't put that extra pressure on myself". Jang doesn't have a bogey in her first 34 holes of the tournament.

World number one Ko fired a seven-under-par 65 on Friday with no bogeys, and is seven shots adrift of Jang.

Michelle Wie finished the week 4 under for a tie for 39th.

She found her rhythm on the fairways and nailed a succession of challenging putts, elements of her game which have been off-key during a title drought which stretches back to July. Hopefully now I can straighten things out and play as well as the other girls are doing.

Five players are just one more shot back at 7-under including Brittany Altomore, Nontay Srisawang, Amy Yang, Inbee Park, and ANA Inspiration victor So Yeon Ryu, meaning it will be a tight race to the finish.

Ko was tied for 7th heading into the final round and posted the round of the day with an eight under par 64 to finish three shots behind the victor American Christie Kerr. I can't remember two and a half days after I struggled with my swing feel, and then made so many birdies in my life.

Lewis birdied four of her first five holes to get to eight under early.

Lydia Ko has finished strongly to claim her best finish of the year at the Lotte Championship on the LPGA Tour.

"Obviously I've gained a good amount of experience doing that", Jang said. "So I've been very excited and just grateful for the opportunity".
