Did a group of Alabama fans run former Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson out of a Tuscaloosa bar Friday? However, it's worth noting that not everyone at the pub was happy with how Watson was treated, as you can hear in the video.
Ex-Alabama football star Ryan Anderson says he did not threaten Deshaun Watson and force him out of a Tuscaloosa bar this weekend. claiming he only got involved to HELP the QB.
As you would expect, emotions are still running high for the Alabama faithful and two former Crimson Tide players chose to heckle Watson while he was enjoying a meal.
The bar denied being a part of asking Watson to leave, saying it was the action of another customer.
Watson is pretty stoic in demeanor, but he certainly doesn't look happy as he turns to leave the establishment, called Innisfree - an Irish pub just a few blocks away from Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The person who shot the video tweeted, "Everyone in the bar told him he was just unwelcome".
Watson notably led the Tigers to a 35-31 win over Alabama in the national title game this year, scoring four touchdowns in the process. It also said that the customer responsible was immediately asked to leave after he was identified.
It was an unfortunate incident that Watson handled with class. We appreciate anyone that chooses to visit our establishment and hope to continue welcoming sports fans for years to come.
Watson is now preparing for the NFL Draft and will likely be a first-round selection and maybe even a top-10 pick.
