Galaxy Note 8 Concept Image Pops Up With A Dual Camera Setup

Samsung Electronics Ltd has introduced the Galaxy S8 series, a smartphone that pushes the boundaries of traditional smartphones with its seamless hardware design and a variety of new service offerings.

After last year's Note 7 debacle, the stakes are high for Samsung's S8.

Samsung has also enhanced the security feature of the smartphones.

Which Android heavyweight would you buy - Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6?

Samsung revealed its long-awaited Galaxy S8 smartphone last week but, while it supports the company's Gear VR headset, there was no mention of another major player in the mobile VR market: Google Daydream. This is not unexpected.

As per Tech Stunt, the South Korean Tech giant has made a decision to go forward with this 8-point safety check to make it sure that nothing like Samsung Galaxy Note 7 of the previous year happens. You can still swipe in from the edge of the display for various apps.

Bigger design requires a bigger battery, thus Samsung Galaxy S8 use 3,000mAh non-removable battery. The handset will be powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-core CPU processor that'll come coupled with a 2GB RAM and an internal storage if 16GB that'll most likely be expanded using the microSD card. Such a device has supposedly been in the pipeline at Samsung for years, ever since the firm showed off its first flexible plastic screen prototypes at CES, Las Vegas (USA) in 2011. As for the chipset, the S8 and S8 Plus are coming with Snapdragon 835 and those are the only devices that are powered by it. But in the two big launches 2017 has seen so far, the story has been slightly different - the attention has not been on massive performance bumps, which remain incremental, but on the displays. The original Galaxy On7 carried model number SM-G600 and now that we have a phone with model number SM-G615, it would be safe to assume that this is indeed a new Galaxy On series phone, but at this point, we don't know which one it is.

However, it's also true that there are more budget-friendly options out there, such as the Huawei P10 Plus, who can do basically the same thing (with small exceptions) for a fraction of the price. It is interesting that its price is very close to the one of an iPhone, which has always been a subject Android fans mocked Apple fans for. Many said that when you want to touch it, you usually touch the camera, smudging it and in time, damaging its quality. Dr. Soneira recommended that smartphone manufacturers consider front and rear ambient light sensors and following the Note 7, the Galaxy S8 is the next phone to add this functionality to ensure the best user experience. Samsung had been working with Synaptics to implement an in-display fingerprint authentication, since it was removing the physical home button from the Galaxy S8.
