Nintendo plans to double Switch production for coming year

The move comes after the gaming giant sold 1.5 Switch units in the console's first week of retail availability.

Unlike the Nintendo Switch, Twelve South's HiRise 2 iPhone stand is not exactly new. The gaming company went on to say that it is making continuous efforts to update the online support site and provide real-time answers to inquiries. "Because of the popularity of Zelda, which is one of my top picks, we're putting together a Zelda bundle of hardware and accessories for customers to pick up online".

In a recent report, The Wall Street Journal revealed that "Nintendo Co. has made a decision to at least double its planned production of the Switch console in the year ending March 2018". SuperData predicted just before launch that the Switch would sell just 5 million units through the end of 2017, and IHS predicted 4.4 million sales for the year.

What has changed recently is that various people have opened up the Switch and the Joy-Cons to see how this new console is configured. Other developers were echoing the same concern, but NintendoEverything notes that the amount of RAM in the Nintendo Switch (4GB) ultimately ended up being exactly what Capcom requested. But, as the company's enterprising marketing team has discovered, it is perhaps the best-looking solution for standing up your Nintendo Switch while charging it at the same time.

Nintendo Switch owners were giddy with delight earlier this week at a rogue tweet sent out by the official South Park Twitter account.

It's not all bad news though, as the game is listed for $10 cheaper on JB Hi-Fi for Switch gamers. Maybe the newer Nintendo Switch batches will be resolving the Joy-Con's connectivity issues and the shipment of the bent Nintendo Switch docks. As more games make it to the Nintendo Switch, we're expecting demand for the unit to shoot up even further-looks like Nintendo has really propelled itself back into the competition again.
