Prince William on first official visit to Paris since mother Diana's death

Starting off their two-day visit, the Duke and Duchess were met by French President Francois Hollande on the steps of Elysee Palace where the trio smiled for pictures before heading inside.
British royals William and Kate arrived in Paris on Friday in the prince's first official visit to the French capital since his mother Diana died there.
"You're very fearless", Kate said.
They also attended the France v Wales rugby match at the Stade de France.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are continuing their Paris trip with a more somber outing following their night of glamour on Friday.
William had reportedly left behind Kate and their two young children, George and Charlotte, to go skiing.
For the reception at British ambassador's residence in Paris, Kate opted for a black, belted Alexander Mcqueen gown with frayed edges.
Earlier this week, reports claimed that Prince William's wife was upset with him because he went out partying during his trip to Switzerland.
The shadow of terrorism fell over a visit to Paris by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge yesterday. Kate Middleton wore a magnificent long coat of pink green (St. Patrick's Day) by the creator Catherine Walker.
To no one's surprise, the Duchess of Cambridge maintained her reputation on Saturday in Paris on day two of her royal visit with Prince William. Kate also added that she would keep an eye out for Bambal Akan's work after she mentioned that she was interested in entering the fashion industry.
This fall, Prince William will join the senior ranks of the Monarchy, leaving his duties as an emergency pilot to take on royal duties full time.
On day two of their visit, they also attended a "Les Viosins in Action" event, highlighting "the strong ties between the young people of France and the United Kingdom", a tweet from Kensington Palace read.
