Dozens of flights canceled at Upstate NY cities as winter storms strike

Several flights to and from Wichita Eisenhower National Airport have been canceled or delayed due to winter storms in the Midwest and northeast.

Passengers leaving Denver International Airport for some destinations on the East Coast are urged to double check their flight status before leaving for the airport. "So a lot of people were on the phone over the weekend rebooking their Tuesday flights for Monday, so today is a very heavy day for us as a result".

Officials have canceled hundreds of flights ahead of a nor'easter expected to drop more than a foot of snow and create blizzard conditions in some parts of the Mid-Atlantic and New England.

But according to the airline tracker FlightAware, 294 flights out of Logan have already been canceled for Tuesday, as have 280 flights into Boston. American Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Orlando, you're out of luck.

United Airlines Flight 1039 to Chicago, scheduled to depart at 10:39 a.m.

Southwest Airlines Flight 4484 from Chicago, scheduled to land at 11:55 p.m.

American will let customers whose travel plans are impacted to rebook without change fees. Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley and Atlantic City worldwide airports are all telling travelers to check with their airlines before heading to the airport. As much as 20 inches of snow was in the forecast.

We are expecting some snow over the next few days across the state of NY. Both LaGuardia in NY and D.C.'s Reagan have also headed towards the 20% mark for cancellations on Tuesday, and the numbers continue to rise as the page is refreshed.
