Ivanka Trump Products See Increase in Sales During February

That philosophy is also ringing true for Ivanka Trump, who proved that spending weeks in the headlines can really pay off for one's business. It's a surge from its performance in January, in which it dropped 26 percent in its online sales.

The news comes amid reports that Ivanka's clothing line posted record sales shortly after leftists launched their boycott.

Lyst, a major fashion e-commerce retailer based in the United Kingdom, also saw a huge shift: in terms of orders, Ivanka's brand ranking jumped from 550th on the site in January to 11th in February with a 346 percent uptick in sales between the two months.

The buzz over numbers, sales and searches first began with a Refinery29 interview with Abigail Klem, who runs the Ivanka Trump brand, in which they discussed how sales have fared since the controversy over the label being dropped by some retailers and the ensuing #grabyourwallet movement. She said most products are sold to women in New York, California and Texas. However, in spite of this boycott, a leading e-commerce site stated that the sales of all the individual products and items of the fashion line by Ivanka rose online.

"She continues to represent the quintessential American woman that is successful, a mother and handsome, and they want that image for themselves", he said. Initially, the Trump brand was at the 550th rank, but now the brand has witnessed a leap of 346 percent when compared to the previous month. SimilarWeb said it also saw search traffic for the brand.

Recently, daily Chinese newspaper Global Times posted a video showing what it looks like inside one of the Chinese factories that work for Ivanka Trump's clothing brand. I support the Trumps! "And then I think a lot of other people feel like, 'Oh, I didn't know Ivanka had a shoe line.' 'Oh, I didn't know she had a handbag line.' And they're buying it".

But, some critics say the bump came after Trump Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway promoted the brand on Fox and Friends, much to the dismay of the Office of Government Ethics.

President Trump's longtime attorney Michael Cohen said Friday that the sales data shows there is a clear victor in the Nordstrom v. Ivanka Trump debacle.

Nordstrom's stock is actually up 4% over the last 30 days, but it's still down 7% year to date. Last month, Ivanka's perfumes soared to the top of the Amazon Bestsellers list.
