He has played 30 Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and EFL Cup matches for his side this season.
"For us it's given us momentum this year - and inspiration - we were 17 games unbeaten before today".
"He twisted his ankle, the same ankle that was before in the game against Sunderland".
There will be an anxious wait to see if Kane has suffered a serious injury, but with the firepower at his disposal, the Argentine tactician will feel confident of what others can do to step in and cover his absence.
Kane's injury though could wreak havoc with their ambitions in both this competition and the Premier League.
Kane left White Hart Lane on crutches and wearing a protective boot.
Kane has been critical to Spurs' soaring fortunes this season, especially having scored eight goals in his previous four games before Sunday.
On Kane's injury, Alli told BBC One: "It is always frightful to lose a player like Harry, he's been in top form, but I think that shows our depth in quality and everyone stepped up a gear".
And for the other three teams, Spurs would represent a risky draw, Kilbane believes.
Alli then made it 4-0 when he tapped in at the back post from Eriksen's precise, driven cross and Janssen got his first Spurs goal from open play by tidily finding the corner of the net with a first-time effort from just inside the box.
For Spurs, there's no replacement who can offer quite what Kane does.
Former Bayer Leverkusen forward Son completed his hat-trick in stoppage time as his fizzing volley was fumbled over the line by Millwall stopper King.
"A hat-trick from Son and Janssen scored. the team was good".
"In football you always need to be ready".
Substitutes: 23 Christian Eriksen for Kane 10; 9 Vincent Janssen for Alli 74; 17 Moussa Sissoko for Wanyama 78.
Expecting trouble from Millwall supporters, Tottenham and the police took a number of steps to prevent violence at White Hart Lane before the match.
"April's semi-final will provide Tottenham with an excellent opportunity to improve upon that record ahead of their probable move to Wembley for the entirety of next season as the development project gathers pace".
Spurs now take their place in what must be the "biggest" FA Cup semi-final stage for some time, as themselves, Arsenal, and Man City await the victor of Chelsea vs Man United on Monday night.
