Here's 16 Minutes of Middle-earth: Shadow of War Gameplay

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment just released a detailed walkthrough of a fortress siege for Middle-earth: Shadow of War coming later this year. Returning as a core component of gameplay for the sequel is the Nemesis system which, as the trailer so elegantly explains, will be made up of Overlord leaders of different territories that will be unique for every single player. Now a whopping 16 minute long gameplay video is out, and you can watch it below.

As Talion approaches the fortress, he is greeted by Thrak Storm-Bringer.

Talion then has to face another warchief, Tugog the Flame of War, who is guarding the stronghold's overlord.

The overall gameplay system is a lot more epic than before - Talion can use his Ring of Power to collect Followers and build an army to assault the stronghold. Now players can take control of dragons, and fly in the air while lobbing balls of fire at the enemies below.

Before meeting our adversaries, de Plater introduces two of Talion's followers, a Marauder Beast Mount and a "Demolisher", a creature whose name doesn't do it justice.

The Nemesis System now not only extends to your enemies, but to your branded warchiefs, the fortresses you conquer, and your armies of orcs. If the system is as dynamic and organic as Monolith Productions suggest it will be, this could be a very interesting addition to the sequel. We see Talion (with Celebrimbor riding spiritual shotgun) attack a fortress in the mountain valley of Seregost.

After taunting the player he carries a flame thrower and lights up the ground - also sending in enemy forces to surround the player.

The game will be available for Xbox One, Project Scorpio, Windows 10 PC (Windows Store and Steam), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro beginning 25 August, 2017.
