On The Daily Show, Trevor Noah brought up a recent town hall meeting that saw a surprisingly young member of the audience ask a question attacking Senator Tom Cotton.

"Because 70-year-old men don't get less cranky or racist as time goes by", Stewart joked.

Stewart called Trump out on a few of his claims, including getting the "best electoral college win since Reagan", adding that he knows Trump is lying, "because he says 'believe me.' Nobody says 'believe me, ' unless they are lying".

On The Late Show, Stephen Colbert went live to discuss the address, noting that some attendees had worn special clothing just for the occasion.

Trump has come under fire for his commerce secretary pick, who is the vice-chairman of a bank owned by Vladimir Putin.

"This whole thing just makes me insane!" he said about the current state of U.S. politics. Mind you, Trump first implemented a version of this executive order-which was later ruled unconstitutional-without any warning at all, justifying that move on the grounds that "bad dudes" would flood into the country before it could be enacted if there had been any delay. Stings a little, doesn't it?

Stewart wrapped up by telling the media exactly what it should do.

The former host of "The Daily Show" stopped by CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Monday night to deliver an nearly 10-minute rant about President Trump and his contentious relationship with the press.

He then took aim at the viral picture of Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway sitting in the Oval Office in a unusual, overly comfortable manner, shoes on the sofa.

"Finally thought you'd met your match: a blabbermouth who's as thin-skinned and narcissistic as you are". Well, good riddance I say. "Kick him to the curb". "It is time for you to get your groove back, media". Because let's face facts, you kind of let yourself go a little bit. obsessing 24-hours a day, seven days a week about this one guy.

Here's my point, media. Did he say anything about us?

"Hey, media. So I heard Donald Trump broke up with you". Self-improvement! Take up a hobby.
