United and Spurs resume Europa League with renewed interest

The Ivory Coast defender will saddle up for Manchester United in tonight's Europa League Round of 32 second leg against St Etienne at Old Trafford.

Jenson was watching Manchester United play Reading on 7 January and as the players emerged from the tunnel, United fan Jenson caught the eye of his hero Paul Pogba and asked him for an autograph.

He said ahead of the Ligue 1 club's visit to Old Trafford: "We can not choose the competitions at Manchester United".

He indicated that he wants Saint-Etienne to go all the way in the competition, but he admits that reaching the final of the Europa League is a tough ask for any team. "But either way, whichever son wins, I guess she's going to be happy in some respect".

Saint-Etienne have not been scoring as many goals as United in Ligue One so they will be hoping to at least get a draw at Old Trafford.

Guinea worldwide defender Florentin, 26, has never before come up against Paul, the 23-year-old France midfielder who moved to United from Juventus for a world record transfer fee last year.

There is little doubt that Jose Mourinho will name a very strong Manchester united team for his Europa League match against St Etienne on Thursday.

"We prefer hard and progressing to easy and being out of the competition".

The Red Devils head into the clash on a good run of form, having won three of their last four games, while losing only once in 22 fixtures across all competitions.

"I think it's a good thing".

"Only for the mum is it a little bit of problem, for them I think they will enjoy playing against each other".

"And (with) the extra curiosity of a handsome thing, which is two brothers playing against each other". They possess one of Europe's leading marksman in Edin Dzeko, who netted his 25th goal of the season last weekend.

"I've played against them a few times".
