First trailer released for Carpool Karaoke spinoff show

During the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening, Apple released their first commercial for the new, Apple Music exclusive Carpool Karaoke series, an internet sensation which originally debuted on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Will Smith and James Corden party hard with a marching band in the trailer for Carpool Karaoke: The Series. How does this sound to you? There are 16 celebrities in all, with two celebrities driving together in unlikely pairings; Seth MacFarlane and Ariana Grande, Shaquille O'Neal and John Cena, and Blake Shelton and Chelsea Handler are a few.

Here's a taste of what's in store.

Apple has yet to announce a premiere date stating that it is "coming soon".

In a cardboard cut-out of a vehicle, Corden sang with Jennifer Lopez, Neil Diamond, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, John Legend, Jason Derulo, Faith Hill, and Ryan Tedder. Corden can be seen singing along with Will Smith, but he won't be the host for every episode of the Apple Music-bound show, notes The Verge.

Apple first announced its plan for the show a year ago, with details slowly becoming available as time goes on.

Carpool Karaoke: The Series is Apple's first commissioned original programming, and is likely to fuel further speculation it is working towards its own dedicated TV service. But besides host James Corden's hilarious emceeing, you might not expect there would be any silly moments. James Corden and Ben Winston serve as co-creators and executive producers along with executive producer and showrunner Eric Pankowski. The "Carpool Karaoke" squad, of course, welcomed her to the bit with open arms, because she's Blue Ivy and she is just too cute for words.
