Melania Trump Hires A Social Secretary

"So far Mrs. Trump is winning the contest for hiring staff with relevant prior experience for their White House roles".

First lady Melania Trump has named Anna Cristina Niceta Lloyd as White House social secretary, putting her at the helm of the White House's social events, state dinners and other high-profile gatherings.

The White House social secretary's duties include overall "planning, arrangement, coordination and direction of all official and personal social events given by the president and his family" in conjunction with the first lady. "That, along with Rickie's vast experience, I am even more excited".

According to the statement, Niceta Lloyd has worked with both Democratic and Republican Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) leadership in planning the last five presidential inaugurations.

"Rickie brings with her over 22 years of solid diplomatic, political and social entertaining experience", the first lady said in a White House statement. He did not immediately respond to a question about how much Tarpley agreed to pay Trump. While there is an ethical component to consider in this whole situation, it's important to note that, while Melania profiting because she is the first lady may seem morally wrong, profiting as the first lady isn't necessarily unheard of. On Inauguration Day she wore a Tiffany-blue dress and matching jacket by Ralph Lauren that channelled the classic American style closely associated with Jacqueline Kennedy.

Trump, who is living in NY until June when her 10-year-old son Barron finishes the school year, has not moved immediately to sign up her East Wing staff. Trump's attorneys provided a copy of the refiled lawsuit they said they entered in NY state court.Online published a retraction on September 1, 2016, apologizing that its report had been misinterpreted "as stating or suggesting that Mrs. Trump worked as an "escort" or in the 'sex business, ' that she had a 'composite or presentation card for the sex business, ' or that either of the modeling agencies referenced in the article were engaged in these businesses"."The First Lady of the United States has settled her lawsuit against Webster Griffin Tarpley of Maryland", reads a statement from Trump's attorney, Charles Harder.

"I think it's interesting that she's chosen someone who has ties to Jackie Kennedy, who she clearly admires, and who could be a modern day Letitia Baldrige", she added, referring to Kennedy's social secretary.

Niceta Lloyd is the daughter of Dr. Piero and Hope Crosson Niceta of Harrison, N.Y. She is a graduate of Hollins College in Roanoke, Virginia.

"For the past 20 years", Niceta said, "every time there's been an inauguration, her company did the luncheon and she was in charge".

One more note on Niceta Lloyd: Her name is not just long; it's complicated.

Richard Painter, who advised former President George W. Bush on ethics, said the lawsuit's language shows Melania Trump is engaging "in an unprecedented, clear breach of rules about using her government position for private gain".
